ok so I just got back from an amazing weekend in Switzerland. It was nice to escape Dijon for the weekend and get some nature therapy. I am trying to put pictures up so hopefully this week I'll have them all up to date...

so in Switzerland we (me and Jackie) took all day Saturday to go to the mountains (yeah the Alps) and just look around and relax. It was amazing to see all the snow covered mountains. I have plenty of pictures. Well that night we thought it would be fun and ate at the Hooters in Interlaken. We didn't go out that night b/c hiking made us so tired.

Sunday we got up and packed up and just wandered around Interlaken until I went paragliding. This was so amazing. To be up in the air with the Alps around me was just breathe-taking. I have some video too from up in the air. Well after this we had lunch (more pasta for us) and got ready to head home on the train. It was so much fun and I can't wait to tell everyone more stories.

school has started again for the week and today we had to have a section memorized and pronounce everything right and the teacher said I did a great job (which makes me happy). I'm so glad to be learning the phonetics here. but another week means more school, but this weekend im going to Paris to meet up with Cassie so I'm excited.

broken

so last night we were ice skating here in Dijon and me being me, falls on my ass but only first fell on my hand (as Curtis said he just saw my feet fly up in front of me) and after 4 hours in a French hospital where no one spook English I found out I have a broken wrist and have to be in a cast for the next 6 weeks. Please just pray for me that this is the last part of this so far sort of bad trip! I miss you everyone and should soon have pictures--without and with the cast!

im now learning everything left handed and one handed...so my computer and typing skills aren't the best...

well im feeling much better!! i rested up this weekend and now i can talk and im not coughing as much (thanks to french medicine!!)

friday i went to my first real soccer game, it was Dijon against Bastia, it was fun (for me at least)...it was chilly but the game ended well haha (0-0)...after that I just rested and called it a night

saturday i went downtown with Alison and Brandon from Canada, we shopped a little and had lunch (i didnt get anything) but then we went to Carrefore (sp) and I got some groceries for the week. didn't plan on going out but with a little convincing from Matt and Alison I went to Salsa again...had a blast dancing...thank goodness this club is only open till 1:30/2 am b/c i was so tired.

sunday i slept in till 2:30 and then got up and just lounged around the res...reorganized my room and studied for the test i had today (which I got an A on)...called it an early night

just going to class this week...not sure how busy I will be...no going out till Friday for me

we're going on another excursion this weekend (somewhere close)...and then next weekend we are going to the Loire valley for a weekend excursion (get to be excused from Friday's class)...but I'm planning a trip to Normandy from March 9-11 to see the D-Day beaches, I'm quite excited...
